Business Employment - Vocational Building at Magic City Campus, Truck Driving School in Minot and Strong Voice for Equal Treatment of High School Students in Vocational Studies
Property Tax Reduction - True Property Tax reform will only occur when the State of North Dakota pays the cost of basic public school education. That cost should be equal across the state
Renters Rebate - Several bills have been introduced by both Republicans and Democrats, including Representative Louis Pinkerton, to provide the 25% of North Dakotans who rent a fair share of the oil tax revenues coming into North Dakota State Government. These bills would NOT reduce the property tax reductions for North Dakota homeowners.
Hunters - Dr. Louis Pinkerton is a North Dakota Veterinarian and hunts with his family and friends. His business often times involves treating hunting dogs. He wants to see greater access for the average North Dakota citizen for quality hunting. He wants more North Dakotans to enjoy one of North Dakotas greatest benefits and that is hunting (all though not much of a fisherman, he would like quality fishing as well).
Guns - Representative Pinkerton does NOT believe registering, or restricting the sale of guns at gun shows, or by private individuals, would reduce gun violence. He does believe guns do not belong in college dorm rooms, or bars.
